Message for the Blind Lyrics

Message For The Blind

Scott, Sarkkinen

Do you believe in the Lord of Life.

Whose Spirit moved upon the water.

Then swallow your pride and live a life that’s right.

Ready to give your heart to the Father.

I was falling to the ground.

Was lost but now I’m found by His grace.

Now I am drawn toward the light.

I walk by faith and not by sight on the way.

And when I opened my heart.

Those old feelings departed,

and he showed me the way.

Now, when it’s said to me.

Just what do you believe?

I’ve got something to say.

If you could see Him with your very eyes.

The Man who walked upon the water.

A hail of fire from a thundering sky.

The raising of Jairus’ daughter.

Oh, but you say that you must see first to believe.

Oh, but I tell you just believe and you will see.

And if seein’ is believin’ here’s a message for the blind.

You’ve gotta have Him in your heart, you can’t reason with your mind.

Now once a stranger came to me.

He said Christ will set you free from your ways.

Then I was summoned by the Word.

To preach the things I’d heard to the stray.

And now it’s all said and done.

All the wars have been won.

And the captives set free.

One Man died in my place.

And the Light from His face.

Helped this blind man to see.

“Prodigal Son”

Sarkkinen, Scott

I haven’t been true to you Father.

I haven’t been much like a son.

You wanted me close while I wandered.

I wanted freedom to run.

Spending my time without any rules.

Words from the wise they never got through.

But after a while I came to my senses.

All I had left was the feeling as to die.

‘Cause when you’re not near I’m defenseless.

I need the love that you have to survive.

A love so secure and never to change.

I imagine your voice calling out my name.

So I will return like the Prodigal Son.

Running to the arms of a loving God.

That’s where I want to be.

That’s right where I want to be.

And I’ll make it clear just what I intend.

I’ll put you first in my heart again.

That’s what I want for me.

That’s right what I want for me.

You are my father of mercy.

You so rich in mercy divine.

I’m going back to make a new start again.

I’m coming home let the party begin.

I’m on my way…

I’m coming home .

“Hold On”

Sarkkinen, Scott, Prater

Mama, please tell  me again

tell me bout’ that man named Jesus.

Does he really love me?

Why do they call him lamb?

Some day, when I get real big, instead of a fireman.

I’m gonna be just like him, cause he is my bestest friend.

Hold on, hold on.

Hold on to the faith that’s true, following Jesus.

Father, I’m nearly 18

and some things are bothering me.

Why all the wicked in the world?

Why all the terrible grief ?

Now I’m so grateful to you.

I don’t know what I’d do.

You’ve taught me everything good.

So the rugged cross I’ll cling to.

Grandpa, please tell me again.

Share me your faith about the savior.

Your like a solid oak tree.

You’ve always had influence on me.

Some day soon, Some day soon, We’re going to find those stories were true.

following Jesus.

The Son Will Surely Shine

Scott

I got psychics on the telephone, trying to give me advice.

I got Dr. Jack telling me it’s just a choice while he’s exterminating life.

I got the U.N. making deals with the enemy trying to find world peace.

I got a school that’s telling me not to pray trying to keep me off of my knees.

Chorus

But I don’t buy. I don’t buy that line.

There’s one thing I know for certain.

That the Son will surely shine.

I got dictators in the Middle East living by the sword.

I got a boss man screaming for my resignation because I’m talking about my Lord.

I got liberals killing unborn babies saying we’ve got the right to choose.

I got a neighbor that’s telling me to save the whales while he’s deciding which drug to use.

(Chorus)

I got politicians out in Washington trying to take away my guns.

I got a darkness that’s creeping into my church trying to take away the Son.

I got a country that’s losing it’s sovereignty trying to give our rights away.

I got a science teacher trying to hook me on a theory that my grandpappy was an ape.

(Chorus)

I’m Free

Sarkkinen, Prater, Scott

Well you know that I’m free, so incredibly free.

It was granted to me by the grace of the Father

Well you know that I’m free, so incredibly free.

It was granted to me by the grace of the father.

Cause he broke my chains, there broken away,

and I’m living today by his name.

And I know that it’s true, what I’m sharing with you.

So I’m telling it to who will hear.

Well I know that I’m free.

I thank God Almighty that he sent his son to rescue me.

Yes I’m free,

Saved by his blood.

And living with the joy and the promise of eternity.

Let’s stay away from the fire.

You know we don’t want to burn.

Just guard yourself with the armor

and boldly stand firm.

Take the  helmet of salvation

and the mighty shield of faith.

Pick up the sword of the spirit

and read everyday, Yeah.

Take the  helmet of salvation

and the mighty shield of faith.

Pick up the sword of the spirit

and read everyday, Yeah.

Give a Little Bit

  Hodson, Sarkkinen

Oh yes lets praise the Lord!

Give a little bit, give a little bit of your Love to Him.

More than a little bit, He gave his life for you.

NOW’s the time that we need to share,

God sent his Son to show he cares .

See the man with the Love in his eyes.

Oh take his hand you’d be surprised.

Then won’t you come along too.

Yeah come along, yeah come along. Yeah…

Now’s the time that we need to share,

So spread the word, we’re on our way back home.

Oh we’re going  home. Don’t you feel, don’t you feel like being home?

Oh yes we’re going to see Him.

We’ve got to get busy, oh come along too.

Come along too, start a new life.

Follow his way, and begin tonight.

Awaken (The Harvest is Plenty)

Sarkkinen, Scott

Awaken, Awaken, the dawn is already breaking.

Awaken, Awaken, the day is our for the taken.

Arise and shine like the Son.

The time is now, there’s work to be done.

Awaken, Awaken, there isn’t much time to be wasting.

Awaken, Awaken, be up and be on your way.

Arise and shine like the Son.

The time is now, there’s work to be done.

Awaken, Awaken.

How beautiful the feet, so beautiful the feet.

Who run to bring the news of the lord.

Plant a little seed to blossom in the joy of his word.

The harvest is plenty, the workers are few.

The lord of the harvest is counting on you.

On you, on you, on you!

Come on arise and shine like the Son.

Come on arise

You better wake up, come on share a little light.

There'll be a shake up, Aah lets stir another life.

Why don't you stand up, for the Kingdom of God is near

YOU BETTER WAKE UP !

Praise Medley:*

Sarkkinen, Scott, Drouillard

Have you Ever Wondered?*

Have you ever wondered? Is god close by?

Have you ever been thinking? He’s thinking of you.

His omnipotent presence. Goes beyond our minds.

We will see him one day. When we stand by his throne.

He's More*

I can hear him in the thunder.

I can feel him in the sunshine.

I can find him in the mountains.

I can see him on a moon lit night.

Yet I know that He’s more,

more than creation around us.

Brighter than the stars in the sky.

And I know that He’s more,

more than we can imagine.

Calling us his own in the likeness of Christ.

We love the name Yahweh …

He is Worthy of Praise*

Praise Him, He is worthy of praise. The Messiah.

Praise Him, He is worthy of praise. The Holy One.

Praise Him for the rest of our days.

Oh Morning Star, guide my life.

Make good my heart, dwell inside.

He searches every heart.

Upturning every stone (He knows the hidden places) .

He loves you as you are and wants to take you home.

He’s conquered sin.

The sinners friend.

Let Jesus in, Let Jesus in!

Oh God of mine.

Ancient of days.

We give you Praise.

Oh Lord, We Praise Your Name.

Lift Him Up

  Scott

You might be a little down and out.

You might think nobody cares for you.

Well you try and try but nothing ever seems to come together.

I can tell you that the Lord has got plans for you.

When the going gets tough the tough look to the sky.

I’m here to testify.

Just lift Him up.

Lift His name on high.

When you’re talking about Jesus.

There is no need to ask why.

When the going gets tough.

You just lift Him up.

Well you’re dead flat broke got no change in your purse.

Check book’s reading zeros it can’t get no worse.

You need to realize that there’s something more important in life.

Just open up the Good Book, check out John 10 verse 9.

You better take Abe and George and throw them back in the band.

And fall on your knees and give thanks.

You might be thinking you‘ve got nowhere to turn.

Just call on Jesus ‘cause He’s got the cure.

You might be thinking what’s in it for me.

But He was thinking of you as He hung on a tree.

Come take this gift that was given to you.

‘Cause in His Father’s mansion there are many rooms.

When the going gets tough, the tough seek the truth.

Here’s what ya got to do.

1st. John 1:9

Sarkkinen, Scott, Prater

I Remember, there was this time.

I wasn’t right on the inside.

I had just fallen into some sin,

hurting my friend, it was awful.

Now I don’t like to admit, but I’ll tell it like it is.

You see true believers they make mistakes too.

Yet his mercy is for all if we answer to his call.

He is reaching out, He’s reaching out for you.

1st. John one verse nine from Sunday school years.

I read it with tears, I was broken.

God’s sweet amazing grace was poured out for me.

His son set me free, I’m forgiven.

(Oh his Love it’s so real.)

So if you stumble and sometimes we do.

My message to you.

He’ll be there anytime, anywhere,

when you offer up your prayer.

Try to remember.

Without Jesus You Haven’t Got A Prayer

Scott, Prater

Well I don’t mind if people think I’m strange

for living this life that I live,

but I hope and pray that everyone will see some day,

the love that only God can give.

Oh won’t you say dear Lord please wont You come in,

to my life, and let me start again.

You’ve got to learn to walk by faith and not by sight

take a walk out on the waters of your life.

You’ve got to take your hand and reach out to your brother

pick him up when things ain’t going right.

You’ve got to set your mind on the One who made it all

when you need Him you know that He’ll be there.

You’ve got to give your life to the One who saved your soul

because without Jesus you haven’t got a prayer.
