Drummer Search 2008

Heaven Sown's drummer Louis Margitan has decided to leave the band. He has come to this decision with much prayer and although we will miss him dearly, we are confident that it is God that has lead him to this decision. Heaven Sown wishes Louis all God's best in everything that he does and we are very grateful for the time he spent with us as our drummer. Thanks Louis! We love you brother.

That being said. We are currently looking for a replacement drummer. Anyone interested can call or email us to set up a tryout.

Work on our first Christmas project is now officially underway.

Before Louis had his last practice with us, we made a concerted effort to get as many drum tracks laid down for our future project ideas. All the drum tracks for our current Christmas repertoire have been recorded so there is a chance that we will have a finished project by next Christmas. We have a lot of work ahead of us on the 3 projects we are currently attempting to finish. We intend to take some time this Winter and Spring to really get busy on them. Please pray for us!

Work on our first Secular Remake/Parody and Christian Cover Project underway.

Heaven Sown does quite a few Christian cover tunes and "re-vamped" secular tunes in our live shows. We are often asked which CD has a particular tune we play live on it. Up till now we have only recorded our own material to avoid the hassle and expense of copyright law. We are throwing caution to the wind and recording our first cover tunes CD as we speak! Drum tracks are finished and we hope to finish up recording soon. Perhaps a late 2007 release is possible! I will have to crack the whip and/or lock the guys in a room for a couple weeks to get it done but maybe I can pull it off. ;-)

A SHOUT project and a Christmas project are still on the table too. All we need is time and money right.

Work on our first SHOUT project to begin!

SHOUT is now preparing to begin production of their first CD project at "Heaven Sown Studios". There will be some of your SHOUT favorites plus some brand new originals. We are praying that all the experience we have gained recording "It's About Time" will help us bring the new SHOUT project to completion in comparatively short order.

We have laid down some tracks for the new SHOUT project but are not really happy with them and have put the project aside for quite some time now. We need to make some modifications to our studio to quiet down the computer fan. Hopefully we can get this done soon and take this time we have without a drummer to get back to work on it.

New Release of "Sowing the Seeds of Faith"

We have received our new shipment of "Sowing the Seeds of Faith" tapes. They will be available at all our up coming events. I really am not sure when (if ever) that project will be released on CD but I think we are still planning on it eventually. I (The Webmaster Dan) will try to keep you posted.
